Shankar Marathe - Mumbai, 30th May 2026 : On the sets of Ganga Ki Saugandh, there were many fun moments between Amitabh Bachchan and Amjad Khan. One famous behind-the-scenes moment shows Amitabh enjoying cricket during a break from shooting. He was batting with full energy, while Amjad Khan was standing behind the stumps doing wicketkeeping. The whole atmosphere looked more like a friendly match than a film set.
People on the set used to say that both actors shared a very warm and comfortable bond off screen. Even after long shooting hours, they would joke around and spend time together with the crew. Amitabh’s serious image and Amjad Khan’s strong personality disappeared completely during these light moments. Everyone around them was laughing and cheering like school friends playing cricket together.
This candid moment became special because it showed the fun, friendly side of two legendary stars away from the camera.
